Director’s Message

Holy Family College of Nursing affiliated to the University of Delhi, is run by Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi. The School of Nursing which started in 1956 has been upgraded to College of Nursing in 2011. Holy Family Hospital is a Charitable Non-Profit Organization run by the New Delhi Holy Family Hospital Society and managed by the Delhi Catholic Archdiocese.

The Holy Family College of Nursing was inaugurated on 12th August, 2011 by His Grace Vincent M. Concessao, Archbishop of Delhi Catholic Archdiocese. The occasion was graced by the Guest of Honour, Prof. Dinesh Singh, Vice Chancellor of Delhi. Apart from GNM and B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses which are already being conducted the College now in view to provide best nursing care and quality nursing education we have also started Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing courses from 2016.

The nurses are real polished gem of our institution and are making outstanding achievements all over the world by serving the patients with personal touch and from the core of their hearts following ethical, values and culture of our Hospital. Holy Family Hospital has the legacy of keeping highest standards of Nursing Care which are being appreciated not only in India but all over the world.

The Principal and Teaching Faculty of Nursing College are not only imparting Nursing Training but also inculcate human values and qualities to the Students and the College believes in providing nursing education based on scientific principles, sound educational theory and clinically sound practice in order to prepare clinically excellent, professionally qualified nurses who will work efficiently in all health care settings to meet the health needs of the society.

Nurses are those divine hands, which bring healing touch to the suffering humanity. Following the footsteps of Jesus, we emphasise on Human Touch, Compassionate Care and Loving Service to be the core of our Nursing Training.
